• Account information: Name and email used to create a donor account.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process donations and provide tax receipts.
• To operate your donor account and display giving history.
• To respond to inquiries submitted via our contact form.
• To send updates about Feline Haven (only with your opt-in).

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. (PCI-DSS Level 1). Feline Haven does not store, transmit, or access your full card details. See stripe.com/privacy.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except as required to process donations (Stripe) or by law.

5. Data Retention

Donation records are retained for seven (7) years per IRS requirements for 501(c)(3) organizations.

By using felineshaven.org, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About Feline Haven

Feline Haven is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 41-4814617) located at 27 Westwood Drive, Estherville, IA 51334. Our mission is entirely charitable.

2. Donations

• All donations are voluntary contributions to our charitable mission.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By donating you agree to Stripe's Terms.
• Feline Haven is tax-exempt. Donations may be tax-deductible — consult a tax advisor.
• A donation receipt is sent to the email provided at checkout.

3. Donor Accounts

You may create a free account to view your donation history and download tax letters. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

4. Use of Funds

At least 90% of all donations fund direct program expenses: veterinary care, food, shelter, TNR programs, and adoption outreach.

5. Limitation of Liability

Feline Haven provides this website "as is" and is not liable for technical errors or payment processing delays.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa.

Donation & Refund Policy

Feline Haven is grateful for every donation we receive.

1. Refund Eligibility

• Duplicate charges: Full refund issued.
• Erroneous amounts: Corrected promptly.
• Unauthorized transactions: Contact your bank and us immediately.

2. Refund Window

Requests must be submitted within 30 days of the donation date.

3. How to Request

Email [email protected] with your name, donation date, amount, and reason. We respond within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds process within 5–10 business days via Stripe.

4. Recurring Donations

Cancel anytime by emailing [email protected] at least 5 business days before your next charge.

5. Tax Receipts
